So, tell us a bit about yourself and your business.
The name of my company is called Beta Sanitise Ltd. We provide services that benefit community wellbeing. We do this by specialising in sanitation, decontamination and infection control cleaning.
We are fully qualified to the highest standard and I have over 9 years experience within the healthcare industry. Because of my training, qualifications and experiences within this industry Beta Sanitise stands out. Likewise all my staff are trained to the highest standards.
We are not just your average cleaning company. We use the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) concept approach in planning and implementing our services to our clients. Also we offer free cleaning efficacy test using Genie ATP Hygiene Monitoring System™. These along with our rigorous care to detail and delivering to the highest expectations are what set us apart.
We do domestic and commercial properties. We work on reports and records for companies that help them maintain their government regulations. I’m proud to say that we do go above and beyond, as when it comes to hygiene safety you cannot mess around. I have a saying ‘A healthy home produces healthy people. And healthy people make a healthy community’
The major goal of Beta Sanitise is to become the foremost provider in Yorkshire of natural hygiene, sanitation and infection control services. We are currently building up our clients within the corporate offices, healthcare industry, restaurants/hotel and of course residential homes throughout Leeds.

It was right at the beginning!

At what stage is your business now?
We have become a registered company this year and we are fully established. Currently we are building upon our reputation with existing and new clients. I believe the key to a successful business is to form good solid work relationships. If you are true to your word, deliver to the highest standards with what you are saying then the only way is up.
What challenges have you faced as a business owner?
Other competitors. Whenever I go to see a potential client they want to look at my services and rightfully so. I need to constantly prove why my company is better then others. It’s proving that you have something more of value to offer then others.
Also finances have been a factor but this is the case with any new business. The state of the economy has had a part to play in it to, because it’s quite common for people to think they can do it themselves. The concern with that is if they are not adequately trained the potential dangerous risks involved are high.
Why do you use myCatalyst®?
I meet lots of other people in business, especially handy when I was just starting up. People passed on to me their thoughts and experiences. If you are just starting up in business then this is what you need. You need to hear from other people who have been there, who are there and who are living and breathing business everyday.
Also the combined package of space, wifi, printing and faxing facilities makes it an easy solution. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Again all the things you need in business.

What would you say is the best thing about myCatalyst®?
One of the best things is being a part of a great atmosphere. You get the latest information, advice and assistance. You feel that you are in a professional working environment, which really helps, rather then working from home, which provides distraction. Also it’s good way to separate your work life from your home life.
